By Randi Mazzella. Here she shares a few insights with us. After failing at a professional dancing career, she picked herself up and reinvented herself as a force in the fitness industry. Zukerman become a co-founder of cycling fitness giants SoulCycle and Flywheel. It was literally a hole in the wall on 72nd Street. That was my introduction to group fitness which eventually turned into a career.

I never would have predicted that at the time. I started teaching different genres of exercise. Little did I know that I was kind of earning my degree in this field. When the girls were six years old, I made the very difficult decision to leave my marriage. In her presentations, Ruth explains that we are not born with a fixed or finite amount of resilience.

We can build resilience, like a muscle, every time we pick ourselves up after a setback. Zukerman grew up in Roslyn, N.
